4 Days / 3 Nights Samburu & Ol Pejeta Safari

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the morning and
depart for Samburu National Reserve via the central highlands of Kenya. Enjoy scenic views of
coffee, tea, and pineapple plantations along the way.
Arrive at the lodge/camp in time for lunch and check-in. After some relaxation, proceed for an
afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Samburu is famous for its unique wildlife species known as the “Samburu Special Five,”
including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. Other
wildlife commonly seen include elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro
River.
Return to the lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, depart for morning and afternoon game drives with a break for lunch and
relaxation at the lodge/camp.
Explore different sections of the reserve while enjoying excellent wildlife viewing and
birdwatching opportunities. The semi-arid landscapes and riverine forests provide a beautiful
contrast and attract a wide range of animals throughout the year.

Return to the lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy located in the Laikipia region.

Arrive at the lodge/camp in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive
in the conservancy, which is home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa as well as
chimpanzees rescued from across the continent.
Ol Pejeta offers excellent opportunities to spot rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes,
hyenas, and many other wildlife species.
Return to the lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive or visit the chimpanzee sanctuary before check-
out.

Later, depart for Nairobi with lunch enroute (optional depending on arrival time). Upon arrival
in Nairobi, drop off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
